Attapulgite Powder

Attapulgite is commonly known as Fuller Earth.

It is naturally occurring clay mineral having a three dimensional chain structure composed of magnesium  aluminium silicate. It has high colloidal properties due to its shape and sizes of its needle like structure. It is a clay which is widely used for industrial and pharmaceutical applications.

Attapulgite act as good suspending, absorbent, adsorbent thickening, rheology modifying, viscosity, bonding and catalyst agent. When thermally activated gives large surface area and high porosity. Attapulgite has high water absorbing ability which gives it good plastic and adhesive properties, when dried does not cracks.

Attapulgite is largely being used in industries for both Colloidal and Non Colloidal applications for Oil Well Drilling ,Coatings , Paints, Adhesives, Fertilizers , Pesticides ,Pharmaceuticals, Animal Feeds / Pet care ,Liquid soaps, Floor absorbent, Industrial Absorbent ,Edible & Non Edible oil refining ,Paper ,Ceramics etc
